Bed was very comfy.

Very dimly lit.

I was still looking for the doorbell when it was answered by my host (it's a video doorbell), so check-in couldn't have been simpler and my host was very warm and friendly. with lots of suggestions for things to do. The location is good, with free parking directly outside (if the bays outside are full, there is a side-street directly opposite) and ten minutes' walk from the town centre, with all the amenities you'd expect to find (however, parking is at a premium in town and car parks are chargeable during the day). The room itself was comfortable, with air-conditioning (although I didn't use it), mattress protector, kettle, plenty of tea and coffee (plus more downstairs, if required), kettle, fridge and plenty of hanging and storage space. The television also has access to non-terrestrial services, which was great for me as I was able to watch catch-up television; the wi-fi worked well too. The shared bathroom was clean, with toiletries provided and there is also a shared kitchen. I did consider stealing the feather lampshade, but realised I wouldn't relish cleaning it, so left it behind for others to enjoy! For those who might make use of such facilities, there is also a spa / therapy centre at the rear of the property.

My only minor issues were that the desk area was a little cluttered and that I had to choose what to plug in when (I had to move the kettle to the bedside table to use it, for instance) but such minor inconveniences would not deter me from staying here again, I felt very much at home.

The location was great not far from work place. Lots of teas and coffees. There were facilities for making own breakfast and to prepare your meals.

Great welcome, comfortable bed and very clean. Shared bathroom was easily accessible and available each time I needed.
