Everything was fantastic Breakfast was always excellent

Access road was poor but this is obviously out of control of our hosts

Very lovely people and all expierence was at a top level! Hope to visit this amazing place again 🤗

Staff were amazing, room with balcony over looking river was calming. Facilities were above and beyond.

No phone signal but excellent WiFi

This is, without a doubt, the best place we've ever stayed. The house is modern, and the bedroom with a balcony overlooking the River Tamar is absolutely stunning. The food was exceptional, with a delicious chocolate cake to welcome us, along with tea, coffee, and treats in our room, and fresh filtered water in the mini-fridge. Breakfast was a daily delight, tailored by Denise based on our preferences from the day before. Though I didn’t always opt for the cooked breakfast, there was a generous selection of fruits, various breads, and cakes. Richard and Denise should be incredibly proud of what they’ve created and the exceptional service they offer—it far exceeded our expectations. They are truly lovely and genuine hosts, and we’re already looking forward to booking our next trip with them.

Everything. There’s nothing to dislike. Denise and Richard are wonderful hosts. The breakfasts were amazing and set us up for the day. The house is stunning and in a beautiful setting. The stay was easy, and we were made to feel very much like part of the family as opposed to guests. Everything has been thought of and the hosts’ attention to detail is exceptional. I hadn’t been back to the uk for 20+ years so this was such a lovely welcome home. Thank you Denise and Richard.

Wow. I wasn't expecting this! A truly beautiful home and a stay that way exceeded our expectations. Richard and Denise are a lovely couple who clearly know their stuff when it comes to hosting. Whilst there are 2 rooms available, they explained that unless the 2 parties are coming together, they do not let out the other room, giving the couple's privacy and a more relaxed stay, which just shows how much thought they put into their guest's experience. Our room (amazing), had it's own balcony with a garden/river view. So peaceful and lovely to hear the sounds of the river. As we were the only guests that night, we also had our own lounge, which we were shown on arrival; along with an a totally unexpected and very delicious spread of coffee and cakes, fruit and nuts, all beautifully presented with fresh flowers. We had a fabulous cooked breakfast in the garden the following morning, again, fresh flowers and so many lovely touches. Staying within someone's home would not be our usual choice; on the whole we like to keep ourselves to ourselves, but Richard and Denise really are the perfect hosts, giving you privacy when you need it, but equally happy to stop and chat when you want to.

More an observation than anything. The road to the property is a fairly steep and becomes pretty rough on nearing the house. Don't let it stop you though!

Fantastic property on the banks of the river Tamar. Nothing was too much travel for the hosts Denise and Richard. Breakfast exceptional. Every thing had been brilliantly thought through. The whole house was spotless and a real credit to the owners

The crumbling, steep road - apart from that - leaving for home!
