The breakfast was exceptional and even better than we would have expected at a five star hotel.

The hostess Denise couldn't have done more - everything you could think of, and more. Fresh flowers everywhere. Breakfast exceptional. The room was lovely, and a private lounge was very comfortable, especially with home made cake.

We both had to choose the same breakfast. A very bumpy unsurfaced road to approach the property. If anything, service was a little OTT.

Richard and Denise were the perfect hosts. They made us feel welcome from the moment they opened the door and were attentive and generous throughout. Their house is truly impressive and the view over the weir enjoyable. A cut above any B&B I've found in UK before.

We honesty couldn't find fault with anything.

Wonderful food, beautiful home, and the blueberry muffins wow, we will definitely stay again.

Absolutely nothing!

Delightful stay, the extremely hospitable host Richard made our short break away very special. We are looking forward to returning to what has to be the best place to stay in the area.

Everything, it exceeded our expectations

The breakfast was outstanding and we really enjoyed the option of Denise and Richard creating a surprise cooked breakfast, which on both days was absolutely delicious. Denise and Richard are fantastic hosts with nothing being too much trouble and we received the very best hospitality. Their beautiful home is a lovely place to stay with stunning views of the river. Thank you for such a lovely few days we shall certainly return.
