Jasmine Cottage

James has a brilliant eye for detail. The cottage was beautiful and felt very homely. His breakfast was outstanding too.

James the host was amazing. He as very friendly and was very accommodating.

My name is Sonia and I am the person who stayed at Jasmine Cottage. I love the breakfast, the grounds and the atmosphere. Our host James was fantastic who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a very memorable one. It reminded me of home away from home.

I would not change anything

Jasmine cottage is a beautiful house in an even more beautiful location. We hadn't even parked the car and James had come out to meet us. What can you say about James? What a wonderful gentleman, opening his home up to us, friendly, knowledgeable and a fantastic cook! The breakfast he provided for our two day stay was exceptional. Choose from cereal then a cooked breakfast with toast, fruit, fresh orange and plenty of tea and coffee. A delight to chat to, with lots of local information. The room was very comfortable with twin beds and a tea/coffee station. A private shower room is next door and was very clean with plenty of towels provided. The gardens are a delight to see especially the pond and fruit trees. Our two days were truly delightful thanks to James being the most wonderful host, you really can't say enough lovely things about him, a true gent!

Really enjoyed my stay with my granddaughter in August… beautiful peaceful place to stay… Friendly knowledgeable host who was happy to share his knowledge about the locality- recommended a lovely pub for dinner.. lovely breakfast with a great variety of quality products- sending my granddaughter off with fruit snack for the day..

Nothing to dislike- home from home..

Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Delightful host, lovely breakfast (great selection), tastefully decorated. James is happy for you to share his kitchen and lounge with him.

We felt a little intrusive as we had to walk through James's living area to reach the bedroom! He didn't mind though and was very friendly and accommodating.

Lovely quiet location just a few minutes drive from the beautiful, friendly market town of Frome. James the host was such a kind, friendly, congenial host, with helpful knowledge of the local area, nothing was too much trouble for him. Breakfast was an outstanding smorgasbord of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal, toast, followed by a cooked breakfast of top quality products, was excellent value for money. I would recommend this spotlessly clean accommodation to anyone, really enjoyed our stay.

Would have liked a television in the room.

My daughter and I loved our stay. Our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, making us exceptional breakfasts each morning at a beautifully laid out table and welcoming us in the evenings as well as offering advice on where to visit in the area. It really was a home from home, it made the trip so special, and we will definitely be back!

Warm welcome from James with a nice cup of tea and biscuits. Very quiet location and good size bedroom and bathroom.
