Jasmine Cottage

The host went out of his way to prepare breakfast to my liking and was very hospitable. The bedroom and bathroom were clean, warm and comfortable.

Lovely quiet property. A TV in the bedroom would have been a bonus as we like to watch the news in the evening.

The beds were really comfy and it was great having your own private space. Tea, coffee, sweets and biscuits in the room was a lovely touch. Jasmine Cottage is in an extremely peaceful location so a good nights sleep is guaranteed. Breakfast was fantastic and better than any I’ve been served in a 5 star hotel.

There were no negatives from our side.

Warm and friendly welcome from host. Picturesque and peaceful property which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional with a delicious array of hot and cold offerings. James was extremely helpful and accommodating during our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return.

James is an exceptional host. Kind, caring and attentive. Very comfortable en-suite accommodation with good attention to detail. Breakfast was second to none! Generous and creative. We stayed for 4 nights. Each morning we had fruit juice, a selection of cereal, fresh fruit, croissants, toast, high quality jams/marmalade and of course the cooked breakfast which varied each day. My son who is a vegetarian, received a verity of grilled vegetables instead of sausage/bacon. Thank you James - We look forward to visiting Jasmine cottage again.

Loved the host James. Very warm, kind and welcoming. The house was nestled in a beautiful estate with wonderful grounds and very friendly neighbours. The bird song is amazing and so tranquil Sat in the courtyard garden. Breakfast is lovely with James cooking on request omelette/cooked breakfast. We loved staying at the cottage, the room was comfortable and had all we needed. Enough space to spread out and places to put clothes etc.. you have your own area with a separate door from the main hallways which has a landing, private bathroom and bedroom.
