Fabulous location, fantastic friendly host, gated parking spot for the classic car, very quiet

Joe is a wonderful host; the accommodations are comfortable and he thinks of everything ! We woke up to breakfast and coffee ready for us to enjoy. He provides charging units for electronic devices , state of the art. We’ve been travelling and needed to do some laundry which Joe gladly helped us with! We enjoyed the local Platform Tavern which is right next door! Great food and music! Thank you, Joe!

Clean and comfortable

It was lovely and host was very friendly. However he stayed with us all the time we were i public area. When we arrived and whilst eating breakfast. We wanted privacy. We had to make our own breakfast and we bought bacon as none there. Breakfast items very basic No juice, pastries or items normally available for breakfast.

Very close to cruise ship terminals. Great pubs nearby. Joe was an exceptional host.

We're familiar with Joe's place, having stayed twice before. So it feels like a bit of home. The location is excellent, near shopping and restaurants, as well as historical sites. Joe is a wonderful host and we always enjoy chatting with him and catching up on what's new. We would highly recommend Joe's place.

Great location with secure parking, comfortable and clean accommodation, being a homestay we could help ourselves to hot drinks and cereal, fruit, toast etc for breakfast which suited us fine, Joe was friendly and recommended places to eat etc
