Gede Homestay

Ketut and Elu are the most pleasant and helpful hosts, and along with Ketut's father Gede, make a stay here a pleasant and relaxing experience. For my 7 day stay there, I had one of the two upstairs rooms which included a fridge. The bed was comfortable though not luxurious. The room and the outdoor seating area were clean, light and spacious. The guesthouse's location is handy to several warungs, and two marts, although the in-house restaurant is perfectly adequate for all meals. Ketut can arrange dolphin tours, snorkelling, transport and in-room massage. Thank you to all at Gede Homestay.

My only recommendations would be, (at some time when the tourism industry is in full flight again in the Lovina region), to get new modern mattresses, and to spruce up the bathrooms.

For the facilities they are providing and for the price. One can't ask for anything more! Thank you for such a wonderful stay

The staff was very pleasant. They went above and beyond. The restaurant was very cozy and looking at the beach while you are dining. The food was great and its very convenient to have a restaurant right where you stay. The price for the food was ok. The room was comfy and clean enough and good air conditioning there.

The blanket was just a sheet. It can be very cold.

Ketut and his family were lovely and helped us with anything we needed. The food was delicious and the laundry service was also very good. We booked two tours through here and both were great. The rooms are big and clean. Location is right on the beach, perfect for sunsets. Definitely stay here when in Lovina!!

Nothing it was perfect!

Very friendly team. The room was big and clean with excellent air conditioning. Large and powerful hot shower. The home stay is right on the beach and has a lovely area for buying dinner and breakfast etc. Good choice of food. The host organised a snorkelling trip on the morning I left and also arranged transportation to my next accommodation with Made who took me to some tourist spots on the way. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer, I only had one night here.

It was difficult to find as my phone map app seems to show Gede home stay in a different place. (Not the fault of the home stay). Make sure your driver helps you find it. Mine just dropped me at the beach nearby and I struggled to find it for a while, which was tricky with a big ruck sack.

Large rooms with everything you need.

the owner and all the personal is so nice! i had left my phone in the taxi when we arrived and they helped me for over an hour and they drove us to the taxi. they have their own tours and they are so nice. the owner’s brother in law drove us to Ubud after our stay here and he was to nice, they are the sweetest people ever!!

Gede homestay really felt like home! The staff were so friendly and I’m glad to say I do consider ketut a friend. When I return to Bali I’ll have to come back to say hello and spend a few days relaxing at Gede home stay
