"Friendly, family place"

Hosts Annette & Steve were amazing. Warm welcome when we arrived. Very informative about the area, places to eat and see. We sat talking for hours, felt just like home. Views from the home were divine, rolling country, there own private lawn mowers (sheep) Breakfast in the country kitchen was great. Would advise anyone to book this accommodation

"You must see this property and the surrounding area to really know how beautiful it is."

The location and surrounding areas were beautiful, and the property itself was wonderful.

The bed felt like I was balancing on it maybe because it was a twin, but moving made me feel like I was going to fall off of it.

Character of house and quality of fixtures etc.

We thought the accomodation was en suite when we made the booking and that a full breakfast would be provided. We admit we misread the accomodation details. Our advice of entry did not come through from Booking.com in time - should be at least 48hrs before. Admit hereagain we didn't check our booking.com. It was hard to get hold of hostess when we arrived in the rain. Hereagain we ahould have rechecked our booking.com advice. Besides that the other guests were charming. Many mistakes mostly on our side. It was a special weekend for us being our Silver Wedding anniversary. An exuberance or expectation overlooked the facts. Thanks

Schönes Ambiente und umgeben von Garten.

Ich hatte mir ein umfangreiches Frühstück erhofft. Stattdessen konnte man sich in der Küche mit Toast, Butter, Marmelade, Müsli, Joghurt selbst bedienen. Eier gab‘s auf Anfrage. Ich kam mir ein wenig wie in einer WG vor.

It was a great location as we were travelling north from the Wellington ferry and it was just over 2 hours. Annette and Steve were very welcoming and very helpful. It is a beautifully restored house.

I was running a Motorcycle course in Whanganui on the Saturday and wanted a peaceful and relaxing time with somewhere safe to park my motorbike overnight. The accommodation and peace and quiet was absolutely perfect. I was unable to meet the hosts as we were ships passing in the night. Thank you for providing the perfect get away before a long day of instruction. Thanks Philip
