Green House Yala

Had a very nice stay here, the owner and his family are lovely and the room was perfect. Breakfast was great and was generally very nice and helpful!

The host was amazing with the flexible check-in and check-out, there is a continental breakfast included, the safari tour he offered was much cheaper than the others and we scheduled the time and he really tried for me to have the best experience. For one-two night stay it is great. Close to this accommodation is Cafe Culture - very good service, “European” looking - so if you want a change in food and setting of restaurants, go for it!

There is actually not so many things to do except for the safari. It has the village vibe - many stray dogs, not so many tourists, beach is kind of ugly and I did not feel good there.

Little simple house in the garden of the owner's house, who can also take you for the safari ride with his own car. If you prefer to experience the local life to staying in a sterile hotel, this is the right choice! The owner and his kids are very nice and friendly! We enjoyed our stay and the safari.

Santha apologies for the late reply.... What to say.. Exceptional people, exceptional place, amazing We both liked everything about Yala, Santha (the owner)and his family are a Gem. We stayed an extra two days because we wanted to go on a Safari, because we had found out that the main the entrance was shut due to heavy rains, this was out of control of all the tour guides. Santha advised us that there was another entrance that should be open soon, so we waited. It was worth the wait and I am glad that we changed our original plans and stayed the extra two days. Santha took every step to advise us, we were able to go on a Safari with Santha.. I would defiantly recommend a tour with Santha in his Safari Jeep. As mentioned in the previous review the Safari was brilliant. Santha will advise you and recommend that you do a day Safari. I would highly recommend that you do a day Safari (it is worth every penny spent), do not do a half day Safari , there is so much to see in the Yala National Park and Santha will try his hardest to find wildlife and drive you too some beautiful places. Thank you so much for lovely Safari again. Breakfast and meals are lovely, Breakfast fills you up for the day.. Thank you for the Beers Saratha, it was lovely talking to you as well... he takes his time getting know his guests, his children are a gem, always polite and helpful a credit to you Santha and your wife. What made this even more special, was that we stayed over the Christmas period. In the after noon of Christmas Eve while we were having a rest, his children secretly put up some Christmas decorations outside (lights and a Merry Christmas sign), this touched my heart - so special and thoughtful. There is nothing not to like about this, everything for us was perfect.

Everything, We arrived in the evening and was met by Santha, what a lovely person. We had a lovely cup of tea and and nice cold beer later. All the previous reviews are true to the word. A lovely and beautiful place to stay. His family are beautiful too. Always there to help. Breakfast is lovely too. Santha is a lovely host. As promised Santha took us on a safari in Yala national park,again an exceptional experience. We saw elephants, leopards and crocodiles to name some of few animals. Lunch was provided.. lovely lunch. If you are coming to Kirinda to visit The National park, I would recommend Santha, he takes his time to find animals and allows you time to watch them. He is an expert in his field. Thank you for a beautiful day out. Every time we have come back we have been greeted with lovely cup of tea. Dinner is very good. Thank you Santha and to your family for making us feel most welcome. We still have another day left and will be sad to leave such a lovely place.

Santha is an exceptional host, he really does his best to satisfy your needs. The little Green house is clean and lovely, it has its own terrace and garden. The full day safari was something I will remind for the rest of my life. Leopards, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, deers, thousands of birds... and such a beautiful nature!

Verz nice family, the children of the owner are very friendly, we did a safari in the national park with the owner and even saw a leopard! he was super nice and also arranged a taxi to our next location, would recommend
