Titardi Garh- 18th Century Castle Homestay

Very good location having beautiful view of mountains. Though there is a limitation regarding rooms as the property has 3 well equipped rooms. The place and property was very clean and tidy as home. The landlady is gorgeous and very nice as host. Nice homely breakfast prepared by the cook.

Titardi Garh is a peaceful and beautiful escape from the city but close enough to enjoy the beauty of Udaipur. Our host Shiv was fantastic. His meals were delicious and his itinerary suggestions were perfect. We couldn't have been looked after any better. The place itself is immaculately clean. They also provide a laundry service.

What a great place. A calm away from the storm/business of Udaipur historical centre. Easy access to Udaipur using the onsite driver who also works very hard with his wife producing some wonderful home cooked food for Breakfast, Lunch and Supper. We just went for late breakfast and supper. The food was organic and most was grown on their land a short trip away from the castle. We stayed for 18 nights and every evening meal was a different dish...all freshly prepared/cooked unlike the Indian restaurants where it is typically cooked and then reheated days later. The food was excellent and eating in the grand dining room table area come grand living room with an amazing view never got tired. We have an excellent time...very chilled out which was exactly what we needed after travelling through India and Sri Lanka for 5 months. Well done to the whole team at Titardi Garh - 18th Century Castle Homestay...Thank you so much for making the last part of our trip so memorable and pleasant.

Perfect for relaxing in the peace of nature, awesome food and service, it's a castle where real king and queen stays. Different and must have kind of experience.

The place was just what we expected based on the description and the comments of previous guests. It is indeed a bit remote and not so easy to find, but that's also part of its charm and something that makes it unique. The hosts were happy to help and explain to our driver how to reach the hotel. Our stay there was peaceful and calm because, I guess, that is also the vibe that both the location and the hosts exude. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great. That staff was always there when you needed them but never intrusive. Would heartily recommend it and would definitely like to return.

Gorgeous heritage castle with only a couple of rooms so it feels very private and so well looked after. Elegant dining and living room space in which to read and relax. The staff cooked incredible home cooked India meals three times a day and organized preferred dining time for all guests so that everyone dined at different times and had the space to themselves, so luxurious and added a special and rare touch! Delicious continental breakfast was also available upon request. The owner and the staff were all so very helpful and very kind. The grounds are just beautiful, nestled away from the noise of the city with a huge terrace overlooking all directions. The rooms are elegant, extremely clean, with all amenities one could want, including luxurious toiletries, a writing desk with views and beautiful, soft bedding. It was a short ride to the city center and easy to get to. We loved it so much we were lucky enough to extend our stay a few more days! We would love to return. An absolute jewel.
