Hotel Rhinoceros-Homestay

Je vous recommande fortement Rhinoceros Homestay, petit hôtel famillal, tenu par Prakash et sa famille. Dès ma réservation, Prakash a su répondre parfaitement à mes questions et très rapidement (il écrit et parle très bien anglais).Sur place j’ai tout de suite été très bien accueilli et conseillé, comme l’hôtel n’était pas plein, il m’a proposé une chambre donnant sur le balcon (mieux que celle réservée). Nous avons pu programmer mes activités : safari en jeep et journée de marche dans la réserve. Les guides avec qui il travaille sont très gentils et intéressants, ils m’ont fait découvrir la faune et la flore de la réserve. Il a également réserver mon bus de retour. Au cours de mon séjour de 5 jours, j’ai eu l’occasion d’échanger avec toute la famille qui est charmante. J’ai demandé à diner un soir avec eux, et ils ont accepté 😄 Le diner était très bon, j’ai pu poser plein de questions sur la vie quotidienne népalaise, prendre des photos avec les enfants...J’ai pu également emprunter une bicyclette deux jours pour me ballader dans le village et autour, c’était super ! L’hôtel est très bien placé (en face un musée, quelques éléphants et des bébés rhinocéros), à 5 min à pied du coeur touristique : remblais, bars et restaurants, départ pour les safaris. Autre point positif, j’ai pu payer ma chambre et mes excursions par carte bancaire (moyennant un surplus de 3%, mais qui est beaucoup plus pratique et facile que le retrait d’argent aux distributeurs automatiques). J’ai adoré mon séjour à Sauraha et Prakash et sa famille y ont largement contribué. 😄😄😄

נהננו מאוד להתארח במלון. זה מקום פשוט, לא יקר אבל עם כל מה שצריך. החדרים נקיים, יש מזגן ומאוורר. מים חמים. אפילו השאילו לנו שתי משקפות ששדרגו את כל הטיולים שלנו בצ׳יטואן. המשפחה נעימה ומסבירת פנים ובעל המלון עם ידע רב על כל החיות והטבע באיזור. הוא בנה לנו תוכנית מצויינת בהתאם לתחומי העניין שלנו. כשהצורף אלינו לסיורים, נתרמנו רבות מהידע שלו. בנוסף, למקצועיות שלו, הוא היה אדיב ומתחשב. הוא סידר לנו את כל הסיורים במחירים נוחים. אנחנו כמשפחה נהננו מאוד וממליצים בחום. גם המיקום של המלון מצויין ודרך המרפסת, אפשר לראות כל בוקר פילים והמון ציפורים

It was peaceful, walking distance from the main town area. The staff were kind; there was a storm that knocked out the power and he came to help give us at least electricity for the fan through the generator and changed the wiring in the switch. The bathroom was clean. Close to many tour operators. Got to see many elephants walking on the street with guides.

I didn’t know before booking, but the gate closes at 10/10:30. So it’s kinda inconvenient if you’re going out and end up staying out late.

There are working elephants walking in front of the property every morning and night you can offer bananas to. The property is on a street with plenty of good restaurants and shops. The owner also helped us set up a tour that was fair in price with the other guides in the area. Got to see a tiger which was really exciting.

Everything was amazing! Room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The family was very helpful and kind. The location was perfect, just a short walk into town. All safaris in the park are available on best price and with experience guides.
