Oolala - Your lake house in the center of Udaipur

We extended our stay here by another night. A lovely view of the lake from our balcony, a nicely decorated room with excellent toiletries and nice towels. Breakfast is great it just keeps coming we selected Indian breakfast although you can also enjoy continental. Lovely & Jitu are brilliant hosts and made our stay a delight.

Nothing it was wonderful place to stay.

We received a warm welcome, Lovely has excellent hosting skills she is so super organised and knowledgable providing all the details of where to go in Udaipur so you can plan your stay well. The house was wonderfully quirky colourfully decorated and full of personality. We loved opening our balcony doors for morning coffee overlooking the lake it's a spectacular view. Breakfast was excellent Lovely does the cooking & she served us Indian delights and as much as we wanted, lots of variety and things we had never tried. A lovely homestay to end our trip.

Amazing room with every comfort (best mattress ever) and a stunning lake view, that can be appreciated even more from the common terrace. Lovely is a wonderful, passionate and enthusiastic host, and together with Jitu, they have created something special. Manish is as delightful as the breakfast he prepares (some of the best food we had in India). If we ever have the chance to visit Udaipur again, we will stay at Oolala without a doubt.

The hosts (Lovely and Jitu) were very helpful and friendly. The location was very good-- close to restaurants and tourist sites. The Indian breakfast was very good. After a two week tour of India, we enjoyed a relaxing 5 night stay here.

Everything was perfect, from the room to the view, to the helpfulness of the hosts. Best place we stayed in our two weeks in India. Cannot recommend more.

This is a really lovely quaint little Homestay where you arrive as a guest and go home as a friend. The owners really could not have been more kind or helpful. The breakfast is amazing whether Indian or European and any wish is immediately granted. We loved: The beautiful views from our window That the room was spotless The pull out clothes line was really handy The mesh on all windows to keep mosquitos out and a repellent just in case. Free tea/coffee/water etc The very comfortable bed with 2 pillows each. The yummy breakfast, wonderful staff and central location. If you can afford it go book this place it’s amazing.

I usually comment on some improvement but we very really happy with our stay here and would not stay anywhere else if we came back.

We loved the position on the lake at the end of a pedestrian little road and the welcoming staff. We were upgraded to a bigger room, windows to the lake. Very good breakfast cooked at the moment. Clean, huge bed an shower. Do not hesitate!
