West Looe Downs

David is an absolutely fantastic host who went above and beyond to ensure I had an amazing stay. He gave me wonderful recommendations and took care to make sure I had all I needed. I would certainly recommend A*****

We had just one night stay while walking the coast path. David was welcoming & helpful. He gave us ideas for where to go in Looe to eat. We left our luggage in his care & he ensured it was collected by the travel company as arranged

David's home involved a very steep walk up the hill - I walked it from the station with a suitcase which took me 40 minutes! Good training for the coast walk next day.

Clean and tidy and host David very helpful and welcoming. Tea, coffee and water provided. Good value for money.

Location quite hilly and not easily walkable to town. 21 steps down to house which can prove tricky. Decor quite outdated and would benefit from updating. Owner lives above the room which can be useful but did not feel very private at times.

I liked the area and it was a lovely place to stay and would come again

David was an amazing host, extremely friendly and helpful.. Managed to sort out a fan for our room and also gave us a bottle of prosecco as it was our Birthday weekend celebrations... Would highly recommend to anyone..

The walk down the steep hill into Looe town centre wasn't too bad and only took about 15/20 minutes.. I would highly recommend though that a taxi is pre-booked for the trip home as that hill is a killer..!!

Lovely and clean, felt like we were staying with the locals. Great location. Host was very accommodating.
