Gading Homestay Ubud

The hospitality at Gading Homestay was amazing. Everything worked well and would gladly stay there again. The location close to yoga barn was also a plus!

Gading homestay made my time in Ubud amazing! The breakfast was delicious every morning. I went to a yoga retreat in Sideman at a fancy villa after staying here and I can say that the homemade breakfast at Gading was better. Kecak and his entire family are very kind and helpful. On my first night there, I had asked where the closest convenience store was so that I could buy tooth paste and they offered to get it for me. They also offer rides to the local attractions as well as rides to places you need to go to so long as you tell them beforehand. Also, it’s just a 5-7 walk from the Yoga Barn and 15 minute walk from the monkey forest. This place is a hidden gym. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Ubud :). It’s the perfect spot for a solo traveller/couples.

There may be mosquitos or bugs in the room, but that just goes with most homestays in Bali and you just have to be conscious of bringing bug stray and using the canopy

We stayed at Gading Homestay 5 nights and it was amazing. The owners of the place are supernice and friendly, we really had a warm welcome here. They were there when we needed something but always take care of not bothering us during our stay. The family helped us a lot what to see and visit and was open to answer our questions about Bali and their traditions. The place itself is wonderful, our room was always clean, the bed and the whole apartment is very spacious and the garden is beautiful, we had our delicious breakfast there every morning. If we had the chance to travel to Bali again, we definitely would choose this place as our home here again.

Such a welcoming and accommodating family, beautiful house, delicious breakfast. Only 10 minutes walk from The Yoga Barn.

The many steep stairs might be a challenge for people with mobility issues, but it was totally fine for me.

Judy and his family was very friendly. The room was spacious and light with balcony on the second floor. Breakfast was included, but also there was common small kitchen with refrigerator. In general great value for money.

Really nice place, quiet and peaceful. A nice family runs the business and they do it really well: they rent scooters, offer laundry services and transfers to different places of the island

We found huge cockroaches in the room, but it can be understandable since the homestay is next to the river and surrounded by nature. As soon as we told them, they cleaned up the room and put some cockroache-killer.
