The family is very friendly and helpful. We got everything what we asked even more. The location is great if you look a peaceful place.

Great location, very close to the temples and monuments. Lovely staff, Mahesh went out of his way to help.

The bed was very uncomfortable with a thin piece of foam on a piece of solid wood and the pillow was also rock hard.

We recently stayed in this property and highly recommend it for anyone who wants to explore Hampi (walking distance on a newly built road) and who is looking for budget accommodation. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. They know Hampi very well and answer all questions. They can cook all cuisines, very good food for good prices. We really felt at home. When we stayed in the property, a larger room was available and they offered it to us for free. There is hot water. We felt very safe and the nature around the property makes it a very peaceful place. In the common area we met other travellers. Overall we had a wonderful experience in the Golden Garden and If we return to Hampi, we will book the same place.

The owner offers everything: water bottles, blankets, soap. You just have to ask.

Budget friendly and clean

One of the best places we've stayed at during our 3 weeks in India! The property is being run by a whole family (who live there too) and they were SO lovely. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful, genuinely interested, not being pushy, and left us our privacy. We had home cooked meals from his wife both days and of my god, they were SO good. The room itself was very basic, but clean and very good value for money. Warm water was a first for us and a real treat. The location was amazing, right by the impressive river and only 15 mins walk from most attractions, another 10 mins tuk tuk drive from further attractions. We felt very safe and relaxed and would recommend to anyone and come back any time.
