Nice room and good location. You can see playing monkeys from your terrace and you get really good breakfast shame we didn’t have a dinner I believe it would be great also.

The family is very kind and welcoming. They can take you to beautiful places around with their Tuktuk. Food was amazing we recommend you to have a dinner there as well and the locality is great!

Anu and her family took a really good are of us - helping us with transportation, giving us tips, cooking, organizing trips.The breakfast and the first day dinner were delicious (they are really great cooks!). The apartment is well equipped and t is near the garden, where you can observe monkeys, birds. Nice place with nice people. Thanks for hosting us!

It was extremely hot those days and as we are not used to such temperatures we wanted to take the things slow. We told it to our hosts when we arrived. They were proposing us to organize activities such as safari etc all the time - and we were politely refusing that all the time. Still we agreed to go for a trip to Pidurangala. Te host asked us at the breakfast before, just before we went for a walk to the temple. She said that she would organize us tuk-tuk ride with a visit to ayuverdic garden. When we said then that we were not so into those gardens - she was convincing us that it was for free, nice etc. So after breakfast, as we planned the day before, we went for a walk to the temples. When we reached the top of the mountain and the temples we felt really really sick. We explained the situation to the host (it was still some time before the trip not last minute call). The host replied that she organized it for us, proposing to leave an hour later. We agreed to go for that trip to not make any troubles but still, the lack of empathy at that moment when we felt really sick and were not thinking clearly, left us with unpleasant feeling about our stay which was generally good. Especially that the host was aware of the weather conditions and from very beginning we told her about our plans. She knew that the way to temple (which is on the top of the mountains, and you need to climb the stairs) may be pretty hard that day. By the way: the ayuverdic garden we visited is kind of tourist trap which sells bad quality products (different than they show) and they are overpriced - so not so nice as it meant to be.

Very homely and spacious. In close proximity to major sites. Incredible food and truthful local experience. Hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly and really look after you during the stay. They take hosting to another level!

Lack of air conditioning, but we know that it is planned to be installed.

The family running this place is awesome. The host prepared the BEST dinner and breakfast two days in a row, everything was delicious. The room was clean and has a very nice terrace for eating and seeing monkeys :). Also the brother picked us up from the bus station. It was above expectations, definitely a place to come back! Thank you!

Amazing owners with open heart - they even helped us to organize our stay in Dambulla (safari and a little sights recommended). The location is superb. The breakfast and dinner is a must - best examples of Sri Lankan food. We had fantastic time chatting with the owners on the terrace.

Cleanliness could be improved.

The owners are amazing always looking if we need anything.. Breakfast was amazing.
