Small mats on the bedroom floor slipped on the painted floorboards, but that really is a minor nit-pick.

Warm welcome, comfortable large bed. Lovley quiet st not far from town. Large bath in bathroom and a separate good sized shower.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet with all facilities. The bathroom is the room next door, immaculate and stylish. I slept well.

There were no problems.

Very comfortable and spacious room. Host very helpful and friendly. Within walking distance to restaurants and beachfront.

Nicely decorated, I love all of the paintings around the house. Clean and lovely small touches like water and a glass each on each bedside table, coffee and tea as well as sugar as well. Sue was welcoming and showed the other guest around while I was on my way, and everything was comfortable.

As mentioned in other reviews the blinds let a lot of light in, but this is easily solved by having an eye mask if this would bother you. The bedroom window doesn't have a lot of soundproofing either so we could hear minimal noise from the street (again not really an issue as it wasn't late at night/early in the morning). The only other thing would be I'm not sure how private the stay is, as the layout is one connected house over 3 floors. The entrance is the middle floor with a lounge, the top is presumably the guest bedroom and bathroom to use and the lower floor I think is where the host stayed as well. This was okay for us for one night and I may be wrong however it was slightly odd to feel like someone was in the house with us (with very few separating doors) as we could hear the TV being used in the morning. This could be a misreading of the room on my part and of course we thank Sue for letting us into her home, however is definitely something you should be aware of when booking to see if you would be happy with that arrangement.
