The SkyDeck Kandy

Beautiful room, beautiful view and very kind staff!

The hotel felt like a perfect place to stay in Kandy away fro.m the busyness of the city but still accessible in 15 minutes via a shortcut. Our room was a good size and very clean with amazing views. The breakfast was delicious and our host went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Breakfast was not included in the price and this is an extra 2500 rupees pp

Great, spacious room with fab views over Kandy. Lovely large balcony and cool bathroom with views whilst you have a shower. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast very tasty. The host was very courteous and friendly. We also loved meeting his beautiful cat Shadow.

Shower didn't work at first but this was promptly fixed when we raised it. So whilst not great, the response was great and it didn't become an issue. There are small raised steps between the room and bathroom which are hard to see in the light which meant I stubbed my toe hard, so be careful of this!

The property was at the top of the trees and perfect to look over the town and surrounding area.

For those with walking difficulties it was hard to get up to the rooms as rough steps / terrain. However the hosts were very helpful with tuk tuks and transport.

Our hosts were excellent. Family friendly. View over the tree tops was stunning. Sri Lankan breakfast was plentiful. Wildlife at your fingertips.

A bit difficult to get to rooms as outside steps are steep - my husband has difficulty walking. However hosts sorted a tuk tuk to solve the problem.

Stayed here for 2 days during our tour of Sri Lanka. Fantastic views over Kandy, away from the city. Very friendly hosts, with own taxi service and took us out to Lion’s rock and the cave temples in Dambulla and took us to the train station too. Lovely traditional Sri Lankan breakfast served to fit in with our plans. Thank you for all your help.

Ideal spot as a base for exploring Kandy and super easy to get a tuk tuk from the station.

The owner is very accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were comfortable with great views. Thank-you we really enjoyed our stay in Kandy.
