The SkyDeck Kandy

- The city view from the room - Room was of a good size for two of us and the shower was very spacious - Bed and pillows were comfortable - No mosquitoes in the room - We could top up our water from the water dispenser outside - Quiet & peaceful location - The host has a beautiful cat named Shadow

- Location was a little far out of town so we had to take a tuktuk each time, but this was more of a minor inconvenience rather than something we dislike. Do note that the homestay is in a residential area with no shops or eateries around - Water pressure was low and the hot water was not that hot too - The shower area is demarcated by a shallow floor depression but the water and soap suds would still overflow to the rest of the toilet area when we showered, and because of the tiles used, the floor was slippery when wet.

We had a very comfortable room with a great view because the location is higher up the road, not in the center. The breakfast was very nice. And the bathroom beautiful and clean. Very nice owner. We can definitely recommend it.

We loved everything. From Kandy center it’s not easy to walk there (too far with a backpack) but there are many tuktuk taxis available so it’s easy to get there.

Excellent views over Kandy from our balcony, Asitha the owner and Indika his brother were exceptional and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend if you want a quiet location with great views and only a short ride into town, or an energetic walk.

A fridge in the room, there was a communal one downstairs so not too bad.

Beautiful room, beautiful view and very kind staff!

The hotel felt like a perfect place to stay in Kandy away fro.m the busyness of the city but still accessible in 15 minutes via a shortcut. Our room was a good size and very clean with amazing views. The breakfast was delicious and our host went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Breakfast was not included in the price and this is an extra 2500 rupees pp
