Tajau Laut Guesthouse

Owners are very kind and friendly but kindly install the Wifi at room area, I own IT business and needed to be online whole time, I had emergency to make calls and was unable to do that because Wifi router is very far from the rooms and signals only comes nears their own house. I was standing most of the time in middle of night near their house to communicate with my office, also many Dogs make the standing near there house uncomfortable. Normal cellular signal doesn’t work in this area being very far.

Facilities were good considering it was a guest house. Owner did say it was a back to basics concept. Overall a nice decent place

A bit hard to find as there was no sign for reception. Would have been good if meals could be provided as most eating places were not nearby & those that were near closed early. Or perhaps a rice cooker or simple gas stove was provided. Bathroom could have been painted white so it will be brighter. Mosquito netting can be fixed so that windows can be left open to enjoy the sea breeze

Loved our stay at the Tajau Laut. The room itself is basic but still comfy and cosy, it has a nice balcony with a view over the sea and in front of the house there is a lovely reef with beautiful corals and fish. The owner is a friendly guy who's up for a chat, helps you out with your needs but also leaves you at peace to just to your thing. It's a quit place with very little do to but walking on the beach, snorkeling, hanging out or watch the sunset. There's a basic breakfast, local (but delicious) lunch and dinner and both are very affordable. Also, there is a small shop at a 2 min walk for you (very) basic needs. If you like a tranquil place to chill, book this place:)
