Johannes Schlössl - Gästehaus der Pallottiner am Mönchsberg

We found Johanna Schlossl's facility inviting, comfortable, and spotless. The people were friendly, and breakfast was delicious. We spent evenings lounging in chairs in the garden. The surrounding woods and nearby fortress were the best part of our visit, by far. It is not a place to stay if you have mobility issues. Visiting most places in Europe isn't a good idea if you have mobility issues. The nearby town had a great brewery with great food, and it was only a ten minute jont.

You'd better like beer if you're visiting Austria.

Missed air conditioning, it was a roof room and outside was like 32, so it was hooot during night.

Sehr schöne Lage auf dem Berg mit tollem Blick über Salzburg. Es ist nicht mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar, man muss 20 min den Berg hochlaufen, was mir sehr gut gefallen hat. Im Haupthaus saubere, zweckmäßige Zimmer, sehr ruhige Lage. Gutes, abwechslungsreiches Frühstück.

The breakfast is amazing! The rooms were clean and very well presented. We were provided with pedastal fans as the weather was so hot. The garden is stunning, and walking around the area of where the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The views are stunning. Highly recommend it. We think it may have been the highlight of our four week European Vacation.

Although the directions were really good for driving up the hill, we would have liked a better indication of where the front door is or some better signage about the hotel, as it was a little unclear. We had difficulty working out where the front door was and whether we were at the right place.

Man wohnt in einem kleinen Schloss auf dem Berg, schöne Fernsicht, in nur wenigen Gehminuten ist man am Aufzug der Kunst, der moderne, der direkt in die Altstadt führt. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Das Zimmer selbst hat nicht in liebevollen Charme wie andere Hotels und es fehlte mir persönlich an einem Balkon.

Keine Klimaanklage und ventilator eingebaut, beim nachfragen einen Ventilator erhalten
