Fantastic home with a wonderful host. This was the perfect spot for us this weekend as we went off adventuring. Our room was lovely, bed very comfortable and Daniel, the host, was an absolute delight. We'll be back next year!

Beautiful quirky lodge not far from Solihull. Behind are grounds and a house belonging to the Catholic church. Daniel, our genial host, knew a lot about the local area and the history of the lodge & house. He did an excellent breakfast at whatever time suited. The icing on the cake was the Chomp bars on the tea tray & luxurious fluffy towels.

The owners were the perfect hosts. A most comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I loved that everything was laid out nicely and he provided us with plenty of snacks and breakfast for each day we were there. he was an excellent host and was lovely chatting to. he gave us lots of information of where things are and was happy to answer any questions. he was always there to greet us. would highly recommend. the house was gorgeous and there was a story behind everything which we loved. we felt comfortable and safe

only thing we struggled with was parking as it's a gate house so it's right onto a main road. However it was still ideal as he was happy to let us use the parking as and when we needed it. There wasn't really anything wrong with our stay here like I said. would highly recommend before it's sold. Solihull is a beautiful place and very welcoming
