"A great experience and a great place to go offline and explore the surrounding nature"

What I liked best was the interaction with the sweet family and the good and lovingly prepared food that you can order in the restaurant on site. The family that runs it is very close to nature and knows a lot about the place and the flora ... I was able to learn a lot from them :)

The accommodation is great and clean. But if you are afraid of bugs (e.g. spiders), it might not be the best place (which is why I couldn't enjoy it 100% sometimes) ... But it was clear from the start that the accommodation is in the middle of nature and that the huts are also very open, so animals can of course get in. Despite my fear, it was still a great experience :D

"Serenity in the mountains"

Unique accommodation in a remote, quiet, serene location – exactly what I was looking for! I enjoyed watching the light change with sunrise every morning, and the stars and fireflies from the net at night. Just magic. The staff are so lovely, welcoming and helpful (Hello Aunty Fe!). They also have a restaurant with the most delicious organic hot chocolate! Would love to come back here.

The reviews do not lie when they say that the road/driveway leading up to the property is treacherous. A lot of the roads nearby are in desperate need of resurfacing. Tricycles do not come up this way for that reason. You will need a van/car to bring yourself up there if you have luggage, and you definitely need a scooter if you plan on leaving the property. There is no phone reception up there either but a piso wifi box behind the property. Also, expect bugs – you'll be in the jungle.

Gem homestay, remote from main hubs, and designed with style. Great place if you want to relax and connect with nature. Ecofriendly, home produced cacao, large size accomodations.

Challenging road to access it. Amenities may be improved (eg: no trash in rooms)

"Slice of Paradise"

The family at Canjahawon are absolutely lovely. Auntie Feh made my stay an absolute wonder. The peace and safety of this place is unmatched. Hands down the best place I've stayed in the Philippines

Such a nice, remote stay! We loved the Aunty Fe and her team. Was such a nice experience to be their guests and we will miss it forever. It's the easy way lifestyle up there and just what we needed after lots of travelling.

The environment is great, the food is pretty good too. Nice staff.

bad road to get there, just be careful on your scooter. Not clean. Humid bed and sheets.
