"Great place with lovely Manager"

I especially liked the manager Dexter who gave very helpful advice. Whether regarding things to do in the area, Periyar tickets or local transport. Dexter gave fab advice on reaching Alleppey via the backwaters from Kottayam. Lovely helpful gentleman. The room was perfect. Clean, hot water and a verandah. Dexter gave me a wi-fi booster so I had great wi-fi connection throughout my stay.

I would have preferred to be based in Kumily but that wasnt really a problem as it was only a tuk tuk ride away.

"Good value basic homestay"

Host was accommodating, we were given tea and filtered water. Advice was given for local tourist attractions. Nice balcony outside the rooms with some free books, makes it a nice place to relax.

No shampoo, a bit chilly at night.

"Welcoming host made the stay easier for us."

The room is very clean and the host were very welcoming. The best part about my stay were the kind host. I would recommend this place to anyone. Better than most 3-4 stars hotel around.
