Lawrence the owner is an absolute highlight, he went out his way to arrange pick up from Kochi airport with great driver. Once we arrived he settled us in straight away and even drove us to the village as the property is slightly out the way to pick up some rain coats and food. Outside of that the home itself is so cosy and and relaxing. You hear nothing but the sound of nature.

Absolutely the best Homestay and home in Thekaddy. The Homestay owner - Lawrence is extremely helpful and one of the most genuine people I have ever met . He would go out of his way to make your trip n stay wonderful. The best host with Rajesh and his wife too. She makes excellent breakfast and black tea / coffee too. If any help is needed related to sightseeing or any outdoor activities, Lawrence will set it up and make it absolutely perfect. Beat for family, kids and even solo ppl who want to enjoy a quiet time without any rush or worry. The greenery around is captivating and best part is that it feels like home . I will be coming back in December to do major treks again. Thanks a lot to Lawrence , Rajesh and his wife . Do opt for off roading which will be 4-5 hours in jeep and it is definitely worth it.

There is absolutely nothing . The rooms are spacious and comfortable with wooden floors and panelling on the Walls . Cosy clean and spacious.

Property is located near to town but calm and clean. Homely food, nice and helpful owners. Tea is special at their home stay .

Very pleasant place, amazing hosts. Beautiful room, clean with hot water and wifi. Possibility to order food from the homestay, typical maliyali.

More convenient if you have your own transportation since not located in the city center. But much quieter then.

Good location, good support from caretaker. However dinner option to enjoy the local Kerala cuisine was not available at the Homestay and as was a big disappointment. Else it’s an excellent stay and highly recommended
