Sopanam Heritage Thekkady

Property owner mr. Rajesh and his wife were very welcoming and helpful. Made sure we were comfortable during the whole stay. They served us most delicious authentic Kerala breakfast. Location of the property is surreal. Morning tea in midst of greenery looking at parrot having the guave treat is just the perfect escape from the busy city noise. Rooms are comfortable constructed in authentic kerala architecture. Best part no television ;). Mr. Lawrence will attend to you when you are at the property. He runs it for the owner. He is very charming person. He will assist you with all sight seeing details. In our case he took us personally to the elephant park, spice garden and kathakali, kalariyapattu shows. He is having good contacts so you will be lucky to get best options and seats. We had only 1 day but Lawrence uncle made it fully worthit for us. Highly recommended to opt for this location if you visit Thekkedy. Thanks to make our stay and visit memorable.

Lawrence, the guest house owner and his wife were incredible hosts ! They all took great care of us, from planning our trip to driving us around avoiding us to pay to many tuktuks. The room was big and very clean. We loved our stay !

Wonderful owner Lawrence, who treat us like a members of family. He and his friend Rajeesh make for us everything, to feel good and comfortable during our stay.

We had a really great stay at Sopanam Heritage. Lawrence, Rajesh and their family took care of us like we were family or friends. They helped us for everything (book tickets for Periyar park, Kalari show, spice garden,...). We really enjoyed our time in Kumily.

The owners were fabulous, very welcoming and extremely helpful. We were taken wherever we pleased at no extra cost and had coffee on request also at no extra cost. The breakfast was delicious 😋 We got laundry done for a small fee. Lawrence was also very helpful and informative. He booked tickets for our boat trip, nature walk and evening shows. Bird watching around the property was amazing and we also saw black monkeys nearby.

I can’t say enough about this stay and the service. The manager, Lawrence, is an outstanding host and goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. After we were all checked in and settled, Lawrence gave us a detailed WhatsApp message info about all the activities around the area. He also made sure we were driven to and picked up from where ever we needed to go for ZERO COST. The owner was actually the one driving us and him and his family were extremely kind. They fed us a good South Indian breakfast. This was also the quietest night of sleep we’ve had in India!

We had a comfortable stay at Sopanam Heritage Rooms are nice and clean, staff is helpful We really like Mr Lawrence's hospitality and support throughout He helped in finding out the best possible Elephant rides, Ayurvedic message with discounted rates He is really humble and eager to help his guests I strongly recommend Sopanam Heritage if you are not looking for luxury and spend quality time with your loved ones with affordable rates
