Sopanam Heritage Thekkady

Location

Location is great, food was right next door. Beach is right in front of us and we loved to watch the sunset.

There were mosquitoes, cockroaches and spiders in the room. A bug spray/catcher in the room would have been great. There restaurants close by and it looks like guests dropped food items in the beach. Plenty of crows and dogs woke us up too early. Could have been more peaceful if the trash was not exposed .

Everything was nice at this property. Everyone is friendly and ready to help. The room was nice and big enough for two. Nice clean bathroom and hot water for shower. Property manager was excellent and had local knowledge and helped with various activities.

Nothing really. We loved to stay here again.

We had many lizards in our room so we got a new room. The new room was also not clean. There were wild mushrooms/fungus growing between the bathroom gate and near it inside our room. The sheets were not cleans. I’d prefer a clean room with no facilities than a dirty room with basic facilities.

Neat and clean rooms.. pleasant stay.. so nice host.. always ready to help… Guided well to cover spots and arranged everything for us whether it is booking for activities or breakfast, lunch, dinner.. Special thanks to Lawrence and Rajesh for such a warm hosting…

Nothing I could find.

We had an amazing stay! The place is beautiful, and the hosts are a pleasure - drove and picked us up from everywhere free of charge, brought us coffee and tea whenever we wanted and were super helpful with booking drivers and tickets for the reserve. Would definitely recommend!
