Alencherry plantation homestay

A wonderfully kind, helpful and resourceful couple who went over and above to ensure we had a great stay. They recommended things to do and see but were not pushy. They were rightly proud of their home, garden and estate. Whilst a way out of town, it was easy to get transport - plus we didnt have the traffic noise! An enjoyable and memorable stay.

Our stay was more than wonderful! The property is exceptionally beautiful and our hosts treated us like friends & family. Antony also helped us a lot with some organizations, which was really kind. The best of all was the wonderful meals, also the view from the rooms and balcony is beautiful. Our room was really spacious and the bed was really comfy. We wished we stayed longer.

Excellent hospitality. Beautiful walks through the gardens and plantations. The owners exceeded themselves to making us feel like home. Very nice meals as well. We would love to return there someday.

If you happen to stay in this homestay, you have hit the jackpot! This is the most perfect stay we have had in our travels. We are a family of 4, with two young children, and my parents and cousin were also travelling with us and it was just perfect. The house and garden is beautiful, rooms huge, comfortable beds, great showers, everything just works, which is so hard to find! The hosts Mr Anthony and his wife are very kind and always anticipating our needs. We had a wonderful breakfast and it felt like visiting family rather then a hotel. Mr Anthony showed us around his plantation and gave great tips for eating and things to do around the area. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and it was just a pity that we were only staying a night. We would have gladly spent the rest of our holidays at his house.

The house is situated outside of Kumly city and surrounded by the beautiful tea and spice plantations. It’s next to the main road so it’s easy to find. It’s a beautiful, modern house with lovely outdoor seating areas to enjoy afternoon tea and read a book. The rooms are spacious and clean. The home cooked food was so delicious and the hospitality was extremely good.

The place is absolutely gorgeous with enough room and facilities to accommodate people across all age categories. The owner and his family is extremely warm and welcoming. The food they serve resonates love 😍

I should have stayed few more days!!
