"Open home not for everyone"

Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Aircon was good. People were great.

We felt like we were intruding even tho we were invited into their home. It just felt awkward for us. So we never used the outdoor spa and shower. We didn't like being in the art studio

"A Lovely Overnight Stay"

A lovely little studio at the back of the property, accessed by an external staircase. Cherie and Mark were there to greet me and Mark even carried my suitcase up the stairs. The A/C was running, so it was nice and cool, as it was quite a hot day. As advertised, it is a working studio with art works and art supplies in one corner, which I found very interesting and added a nice personal touch. The bedroom area is plush and the ensuite is divine. Everything is so clean. There are many thoughtful touches throughout, such as bathrobes, makeup remover, homemade banana bread and freshly squeezed orange juice. Mark and Cherie are such a friendly and hospitable couple. They really know how to look after their guests. Highly recommend staying here as the location is excellent, with places to eat only a short distance away.

Nothing really. Maybe some ground coffee beans rather than instant would be nice for those that like a good coffee with their breakfast. (If you drink tea, there is a good choice and some very nice mugs.)

Marche Home Stay was in a great location, numerous restaurants nearby, very close to many beautiful beaches, ideal for visiting Hunter Valley. The facilities provided were excellent, private patio was great. Breakfast was provided and very good. The Bed and Breakfast is situated in a very nice area. The hosts Mark and Cherie could not be more helpful and invited one of the evening to have Pizza with them. Fully recommend staying in Bed and Breakfast.
