"A great base from which to explore Harrogate"

Very spacious, with everything I could hope for. The space was very clean and fresh, and the host welcoming.

It didn't cause me a problem, but be mindful that the stairs to the second floor are quite steep. I would not recommend this for anyone with mobility issues.

"Warm and Welcoming"

A lovely warm welcome from Clair on arrival. A beautiful home with a lovely room. Lots of tea and coffee and biscuits 😋 Good location with an easy walk to restaurants and cafes. We had the top floor to ourselves so could choose what bedroom we preferred. Nice bathroom and a lovely warm comfortable bed. Street parking was easy to find a spot Highly recommend 👌

"Comfortable and quiet"

Very confortable room and stay. I chose the smaller room at the back for quietness. It overlooks some allotments so also had a pleasant view. Claire was very welcoming but not intrusive. Nice selection of books if staying longer. Altogether a pleasant stay.

The shower room fittings could be better. As is often the case, there was no shelf to place my own toiletries, toothbrush and razor and the various creams. Ditto in the shower cabinet, nowhere to put my own shampoo bottle except balanced on the pipe work. The tiny oblong sink was rather too small, not sure wy as there was space for a larger one. If you are in anyway unfit it is worth noting that the room is at the very top of the house and the last staircase is quite narrow, so getting yourself and a case up there can be a bit of a struggle. Claire did offer to help with luggage so that would be a great help if needed but even as an 82 year old I managed fine. Those comments aside I would definitely stay there again.

"Lovely stay in a lovely town!"

The host (Claire) was exceptionally gracious and kind. She gave us tips for the best local attractions and found a perfect balance between being open and friendly while giving people space. The room was light and clean, it had all amenities needed.

A super host, Claire couldn't do enough for us - so helpful and friendly. The quality of the accommodation was superb - very high standard and spotlessly clean. Fantastic location - easy links into Harrogate, frequent buses 6 mins or local train 1 stop. Exceptional value for money.
