Amrit Bhawan

Really enjoyed our stay at the Amrit Bhawan. The location on the bank of the river is superb, the decor tasteful and the staff are helpful, kind and calmly professional. There is a feeling of tranquility here that we have felt nowhere else on our travels through India. The food was excellent too.

We booked a small room, which was indeed small! If we return ( and would love to!) we’ll splash out on an upgrade.

Amrit Bhagwan was excellent. We arrived after a long journey from Delhi and we were greeted with a warm welcome. I found the service exceptional. The walk down to the Ganges at the bottom of the garden was magical. There is a peaceful spot to sit by the water. The food was absolutely delicious. It was our first night in India but actually the best supper we had over our month in Rajasthan. A highlight for me was the yoga in the morning and the bedroom. The bed was crisp clean and comfortable. I really recommend this hotel, and I would definitely go again. After supper, my partner and I sat by the fire that was lit in the garden and chatted with some other guests. The birds sang in the morning, and we woke up to a fresh breakfast. Thank you so much.

The ambiance, service, location, staff and good. The facility is located on the banks of Ganga river, the relaxing atmosphere instantly gives your warmth. We enjoyed Ganga Aarti and Yoga that is done at the facility. Food was amazing and staff were always ready to help you.

Nothing to dislike

It was very relaxing and personalised hospitality made our stay a memorable one.

The location, price is way too too high for the place and facilities, it was more like a home stay so was the food too basic... Not matching in class and variety to the price per night.

It’s a beautiful property with extremely cozy rooms and outstanding view of the ghat. The morning chai overlooking running Ganges is perfect! Don’t forget to pre-book massage/malish after Yoga session - it’s a perfect start to the morning.

17k for a night is a tad slightly expensive. While booking (booking.com) it wasn’t very clear if in INR 14k food was inclusive or not. Irrespective whether you eat all meals or not hotel insists of charging for all meals, which again is a bit strange ask. There’s no provision for driver stay, one has to book the driver the Dharamshala next door which closes by 10 PM - so one has to return back to the property before 10 PM else be ready to shell out another INR 1k for driver stay + another INR 2/3k for all his meals etc. There should be better alternate for driver stay.
