Cozy and Beautiful Stay in Kochi I had a wonderful experience at this homestay. The place is cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained. The family is absolutely lovely—very warm, welcoming, and helpful. The food was delicious and felt like a true taste of home-cooked Kerala cuisine.

The only downside was the Wi-Fi connection, which was a bit unreliable at times. If you need strong internet for work, this might be a small challenge. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a peaceful and authentic stay in Kochi!

The hosts were exceptional, always available and ready to help, full of suggestions and open to chatting. I felt like home :) The location is very great in Fort Kochi, all good spots (beach, market, cultural area) are nearby. It is even possible to organize a one-day trip to backwaters on boat, with pickup from the homestay (I loved it). Finally, the room is perfect for solo travelers and I recommend this place. My next trip in India will start from here.

Beautiful family homestay with a short walk to most places of interest and 10 minute tuktuk if the heat beats you to anything else further afield. We opted for AC (make sure you select room with AC if this is what you require) Winnie, Joseph and their two children are great hosts, very welcoming, huge friendly smiles and helpful. Winnie cooked up beautiful breakfasts each morning and we also had dinner at the property too. All were delicious! And of very good value. Thank you Winnie 😊 Rooms are very clean and beds comfortable 🥳 there is constant hot water (first time in our 2month long trip) but you won’t need it! Cool showers are needed here at this time of year. If we are ever in Fort Kochi again, we would most definitely stay again without hesitation. Thank you once again for your hospitality 🙏🏼😊

Aleena’s Homestay is just as good as I expected. The room was spotless and we enjoyed the private patio outside the room. Fort Kochi is hot, so definitely opt for the A/C. Winnie and Joseph, the hosts, are so friendly and helpful. They greeted us with a warm smile and offered to help book tickets to shows and events without being pushy. They will even cook a meal for you, if you like. Winnie lent me her computer so I could book train tickets to Trivandrum, which saved us a lot of time and money. And Joseph kindly dropped us off at our next Homestay when we wanted to stay an additional night, and Aleena’s was fully booked. The location is a short walk from the busy center, but in return you get peace and quiet with lovely birdsong in the mornings. I highly recommend staying at Aleena’s if you’re looking for a clean and nice room with a private bathroom in Fort Kochi.

We totally enjoyed it. At first we just wanted to stay a thew nights, but then we extended our stay because we liked Kochi and the homestay so much. It’s really good located. We got breakfast, coffee even early in the morning, they did recommendations and also our laundry. The whole family is very warm-hearted. We really enjoyed our stay and can recommend it to everyone :)

Lovely place! Clean place and convenient location a short walk from everything. The host family is nice. Bed is comfy, the room has a fan to keep you cool. Perfect for solo travelers and couples.

A very nice homestay with a clean room and comfortable beds. The family that runs the place is extremely helpful and kind. We couldn't thank them enough! I would recommend it to a couple looking for a quiet place in a good location.

Very enjoyable stay. The owner is so friendly and helpful and made us very welcome. She also recommended lots of things to do and see. Good size bedroom and enormous bathroom. Lovely balcony with seating & table. Comfy beds Very close and walkable to the attractions, shops & restaurants.

A few things would have been preferable. A fridge. An extra table to put suitcase on (to avoid having to empty everything out). The air con wasn't effective, even though we had the ceiling fan too. It was very difficult to see the stairs up to our room in the evening. A small sensor light would have helped.

Lovely, kind, welcoming family. Always available and making sure that needs of guest are met. Room is clean with modern refurbished bathroom/washroom. Hot water available immediately for hot shower. Bed large and comfortable. Small desk that can be used for working from/remote work. Large cupboard for storing clothes. Quiet and peaceful, enabling good nights sleep and rest. Also option to book tours directly with the Owner of property. Also available, scrumptious breakfast and other meals, lunch/dinner, I would return when I come back to Kerela.
