The property is surrounded by lush greenery and is walking distance from Banjar river.

I understand that it is an eco resort and they take pride in reusing old and discarded stuff (particularly the furniture and furnishings) but a little investment to balance things out could go a long way.

I had a great time at Surwahi Social Ecoestate Kanha. The rooms were comfy with beautiful forest views, perfect for unwinding. The safaris were exciting. I even spotted a tiger! I loved how they focus on being eco-friendly, using solar power and fresh local ingredients for meals. The staff were super friendly and helpful. If you want a peaceful escape close to nature, this is the place to be!

The open kitchen was a delight, allowing us to watch our meals being prepared right before our eyes. The attention to detail in every aspect of the homestay, from the natural swimming pool to the rustic design, was remarkable.The staff, including Narendra Ji, were incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring every aspect of our visit was well taken care of. For anyone seeking a nature-centric retreat with a focus on sustainability and cultural immersion, I highly recommend Surwahi Social Ecostate. The combination of excellent hospitality, eco-friendly design, and local experiences makes it a perfect choice for a stay in Kanha. I look forward to returning, especially in the winter.

I recently stayed at Surwahi Social Ecoestate Kanha, and it was an incredible experience! The earthen-themed, eco-friendly property truly embraces nature. I loved the Satkon dining area, where I could witness rainwater harvesting, a brilliant system that recharges their well. The food was homely and special, and the staff was genuinely warm and accommodating. The host went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Nestled in the heart of wildlife, it's a haven for birdwatchers and butterfly enthusiasts. Perfect for a relaxing getaway and jungle safari near the Khatia gate.

Rooms were well maintained and clean.

There is no food menu. Charges for food should be mentioned which was not priorly communicated to us in any manner. Pool is too small and not clean. Property is far away from local town so if you rent vehicle for any pupose from resort’s side they’ll charge exhorbitantly.

I had booked this for my sister & her better half for their 25th wedding anniversary, though I was not there but as I communicated with the manager Mr Narendra was the best to fulfill all my requests. He was proactive to know about their likes and asked me even the food to prepare. My didi & jiju enjoyed their stay. I also requested for photo shoot in which he helped me too. I can't thank enough how special he made their stay and the property was outstanding.

Nestled in the jungle, it allows one to experience nature at its pure. The eco building concept of the estate has allowed the property to blend in with the nature with a stream and a river flowing nearby. It combines luxury with sustainability. The food was great. It took you on a culinary journey in fact with a wide spread of options including some from the local cuisine as well.
