Oldlands Farmhouse Gatwick

Location wise great for what I needed. A shame as very very cold room even with an extra heater in the room. Bathroom had no heater. Window woke me at 4am rattling in its frame. Welcome on arrival was great bit too cold to stay again. A shame as beautiful be ie. B close to main road so noise of the road and airport combined too much for a very light sleeper. No tv signal at all in room. Thank ful for my phone and iPad albeit WiFi refused to hook in on my iPad.

Warmer room with heating in bathroom would have been grea

Great location for my requirements and the hosts were fabulous, really friendly and accommodating.

The location and parking

The room was very tired with mould in the shower and carpet in the bathroom. There was also lots of mould on the window which was directly behind my pillow. Needs updating.

A pleasant place and a lovely host. I don’t think you can easily find a good place near Gatwick Airport. They even offered us a better room, and we felt great.

The bar across the street is a mess — I would never go in there again.

The staff at Oldlands were incredibly nice and accommodating. They replied so fast and even helped me with buses the next day.

The only little problems were the mattress (I was sleeping alone in a double bed and still couldn't get comfortable. They NEED to change those) and arriving there from the airport. If it isn't a common time, the buses don't pass by and no taxis want to take a fare that is so close by. Had many carshare and taxi cancellations until I ended up paying 30£ to go 1.2 miles. Not the Oldlands fault but something to consider when booking.

Very beautiful property, and rooms are quite cute! Historical building so it is a little cold in rooms, but the beds are nice and cozy and bathrooms are clean. Very lovely host who gives helpful recommendations for food and transport. Overall great stay!
