Oldlands Farmhouse Gatwick

Excellent location, only a short, easy bus ride to Gatwick airport. Room was clean, spacious and bed was comfortable.

Would have liked a comfy chair to sit in, a box of tissues and better teabags. One lightbulb not working, nor the clock. Noisy at night with other guests arriving late and leaving early.

We were very happy with our stay at Oldlands Farmhouse. It is so convenient to the Gatwick Airport, and the staff was very welcoming.

We couldn’t figure out how to use the air conditioner/heat system.

- Ideal location for Gatwick, literally a bus stop right outside the farm that's 4 mins to the south terminal - the lady who welcomed me was so warm and kind, great service - the suite was beautiful, spacious but with a cosy feel loved the renovated stables. - comfiest bed with lovely sheets All in all a fab stay and ideal for the day before a lot of flying!

Perfect comfortable pre flight stay. Even had a lovely garden for the children to play.

Once you have worked out where to catch the bus, (Ask as soon as you exit arrivals, as it is 3-4 minutes walk away but not obvious.) getting to accommodation is easy and cheap. Buses are every 30 minutes and you pay by tapping. You can eat and drink at normal prices across the road at the Greyhound Pub but you'd better like curry. There is nothing luxury about the accommodation but it has character and is comfortable enough.

Sam was welcoming, professional, friendly and a great communicator. Oldlands is 2 stops/4 mins from South terminal, yet quiet and surrounded by trees. The rooms are attractive, our four poster bed very comfortable. The continental breakfast was great value at £7.50 and ready night before for us to take when we departed very early next morning and so much better than what was on offer on flight. The Greyhound pub diagonally opposite has great Indian restaurant good food. Would recommend and would stay again. Thanks Sam

We noticed the shower cubical appeared to have some mould in the grouting. There was quite a lot of dust on pipes near floor and dead spider at base of pedestal had basin, and no plug to fill sink (we didn’t ask for one as we were washing at 4.45am!, otherwise we would have!

Personal sehr freundlich, ältere aber sehr schöne und gepflegte Zimmer. Gute Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Tolles Gelände mit Platz zum draußen sitzen und spielen
