Quaint & Quirky House Colchester Town Centre

Centrally located. Amenable to support storing cold food. Clean.

The room was cluttered, not enough room to place suitcases on the floor. The room was certainly big enough, but it had too many large items in it making it cluttered and uncomfortable. Too many signs in the room containing rules one of which was that the room will be inspected prior to exiting the property. Although respect was big on the agenda, I'm afraid it fell short especially when confronted with the host inappropriately dressed in the morning. There was no parking out the front which was expected due to the location of the property being in the centre of town however we were told that parking was only .70p. This cost was from 6pm until 6am so this was inaccurate as we were not going to move the car before 6am. We ended up paying an extra 4.20p until 6pm the following day.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Highly recommended. The house & owner are both amazing

The place is exactly as on photos. A wonderful pub is just nearby.

There is no private toilet for the room. The room is on the first floor, the toilet is on the ground flor.

Lovely friendly host. Obviously no en suite, but managed OK. The host will help in any way she can in forward travel.
