Quaint & Quirky House Colchester Town Centre

Very nice and warm and friendly hosts ,room is perfect and will definitely be staying with them again

Very friendly and informative hostess but she also gave me space to come and go as I liked. Amazing collection of object d'art that made for interesting conversations. Cosy room with good tea facilities and excellent popcorn. I would stay again if I was in the area.

The shower was a bit difficult to control. Either very hot or cold but manageable.

Animals in the property that are not mentioned in the description. The residential house is very very cluttered making it nearly impossible for guests to easily get to the shared bathroom. Shared ‘facilities’ are very dirty. The guest room can’t be locked from the outside making guest belongings vulnerable. It’s uncomfortable and cramped - it’s grossly missold on the booking.com platform. I did not stay at the property and had to find alternative accommodation.

Amazing location - only 5 mins walk to main centre. Even a local pub 3 doors down! Super friendly hosts.

Justine is a wonderful & lovely host who makes you feel very welcome indeed. The house has to be seen to be believed it's utterly gorgeous & very quaint & quirky! The room itself has all the facilities you could want for, there's even bathrobes for the guests. The bed is so comfy as many other guests have stated, there's an electric blanket & a hot water bottle for the colder nights. The Rosie & Jim ragdolls brought back happy memories. I enjoyed my morning cuppa in the beautiful garden before leaving. It's so quiet you wouldn't believe you were a few minutes from Colchester town centre. I highly recommend you stay at Quaint & Quirky.
