The place is so beautiful such as a Paradise. Nick is a really nice host. It was really nice to stay there in a Papua typical family. The food is very good just good quality fish.

No cold beers

The property is out in the middle of nowhere. If you want peace and quiet this is the place.

The transportation cost to get there is high. However it is a long way from Waisai.

Surprisingly easy to get to. You feel like you are at the end of the earth in this isolated protected bay. Wonderful snorkeling all around the HS. Nick takes you for excursions around the area. The highlight was snorkeling with Manta Rays while feeding. They swam all around us for 30 minutes. Food is good. Nice mattress on the floor with mosquito net. Fish swim all around you deck below.

The location is just paradise. A perfect getaway to enjoy the nature and beauty of Raja Ampat. You can snorkel directly from you hut. If you swim across, there is a secluded private beach that you can enjoy. There is so many different kinds of fish to see from the hut's platform. Nick and his brother Marto are happy to drive you anywhere. Piaynemo is just a 15-minute boat ride away and there are plenty of amazing snorkeling spots within the same range. All for a very reasonable price. Some good to knows (but not negative): Lunch and dinner are tasty Indonesian meals. It was just us two, so there was plenty. For breakfast, if you are a big eater, you might want to bring some additional snacks. But leave nothing out or open in or near your hut, because the ants will find it (like in many places in Indonesia). If you are craving beer, he can take you on a 5-minute boat ride to the next island, where the resort has small Bintangs and other drinks. They are regularly collecting pieces of plastic that float onto the island (which is unfortunately a worldwide problem). However, you'll notice it's an ongoing process and we took about 10 minutes twice a day to just go around a bit and collect some as well. Electricity is on from about sundown to midnight and cell signal barely works, which makes it a perfect place to really unwind. *Nick mentioned there is wifi, we didn't bother to try :) I highly recommend the place for everyone looking for a more remote homestay.

Beautiful location and very peaceful homestay

The most stunning place you can imagine! beautiful houses on the water. very simple, but just perfect. baby sharks swimming around the houses. loved the cocoscrabs tour in the evening. prices are good. the owner Nick is super friendly and helpful!

Nothing. the rooms are very basic (just a mattress on the floor with mosquito net) and you have to walk 100 mtr for the toilets/ shower. but that is mostly standard in Raja Ampat.

We stayed in the homestay at that tiny Island for six nights in january at the very end of our trip and it was just amazing 😍 Nick was a very nice host and showed us nice snorkeling spots. The overwater-bungalow and the whole area was totally lovely with little flowers and other things that make your stay nice and comfortable. Thank you Nick and maybe see you again one time ☺️

The housereef was partly destroyed but still okay for beginners. We preferred snorkeling at other spots.

This place is Paradies 😍 We enjoyed staying with Nicks family for one week. The over water Bungalows are lovely, the food ist really good and the snorkeling trips with Nick are amazing!!

I had a fantastic time there,Nick his family & his sidekick Stanley who's 7 couldn't do enough for me & the other guests. From picking me up in Waisai to arranging snorkeling & boat trips that where all reasonably priced & fair Super friendly, food was good , bungalow was good too .I would 100% recommend anyone to stay there.

The only thing I didn't like is that I didn't book to stay there longer, I wish I had !,
