Big room with two beds and private outside area with table and good seating. Good value for fan room but if you want a bit more comfort and maybe a view choose their air con rooms. But more steps to those. The small pool was a nice bonus but it doesn't get any sun so expect cold. But still nice. Mini breakfasts were included and pure water available. Nice people. When I left they thanked me for staying with them which was a nice touch.

At that price point I will not be critical, especially as all their rooms are probably a bit different..

Best value hotel in Ubud

The location is very central and it was very cheap to stay there

After staying at a lot of budget locations across Bali, I can’t say our expectations are high. We don’t mind a little dirt or dust or even a room that isn’t well furnished, but we really didn’t enjoy our stay here. The fan does absolutely nothing to cool the room so prepare to need a few cold showers just to sleep- and cold was our only option on the shower. The bathroom light didn’t work, there was no lamps, no soap, and upon arrival we were charged 50p more than the asking price- which isn’t much but felt like a way to slightly take advantage of tourists. We didn’t try breakfast as the facility wasn’t overly clean. I should also note checkout time on booking.com is 12pm but we had someone knocking on our door at 11am telling us we had to leave. In fairness we didn’t raise the issue as the price was so low and we were there for only 2 nights but wouldn’t stay again. There were lots of places the same price that I would go with next time, cheap doesn’t always mean poor quality but in this case it did.
