We recently had the pleasure of staying at Ne' Pakku Manja Family home, and it was truly the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family and treated to an unforgettable experience. The accommodation is beautifully designed with every detail thoughtfully curated. The incredible shower made from an upturned coconut shell was a unique touch! Meyske's food was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious and beautifully presented dishes. Every meal was a culinary delight. The private 2-day tour with Meyske was inspiring, emotional, and incredibly informative. Meyske's deep knowledge and passion for the local culture left us in awe. We learned so much. In conclusion, this stay exceeded all our expectations. The exceptional hospitality, stunning accommodation, and enriching tour made it an experience we will treasure forever. Beste homestay in Rantepao! We hebben echt een fantastische tijd gehad bij Meyske. Je verblijft in een traditioneel huis met geweldig uitzicht. Meyske is niet alleen een super goede host maar ook gids. Ze zorgt ervoor dat je niks te kort komt. Wij hebben ons echt thuis gevoeld en zouden willen dat we langer konden blijven. De kamers zijn simpel en open maar heel schoon. De badkamer is gedeeld, maar ook deze is mooi en heel schoon. Ik zou deze homestay aan iedereen aanraden!

Les chambres sont très confortables, la décoration est charmante, et les repas sont délicieux ! La visite guidée avec Meyske a rendu notre expérience en pays Toraja inoubliable.

Une des meilleures expériences de notre vie et la plus belle de notre voyage en Indonésie ! Nous avons logé 4 nuits dans la famille de Meyske, une authentique famille Toraja. Pour commencer, le homestay se situe à l’étage de la maison familiale. Les espaces communs sont très bien décorés, on s’y sent très bien. Les chambres sont simples mais le confort est là. Bien que les chambres soient séparées par de simples cloisons, on ne se gêne pas trop. Meyske et sa maman sont également de très bonnes cuisinières. On s’est régalé à chaque repas qui étaient variés et pas trop épicés. Meyske propose également de nous servir de guide pour découvrir de façon très authentique la culture Toraja. Nous l’avons accompagné 3 jours durant lesquels nous avons été invités à participer à différentes cérémonies (funérailles, mariage et bénédiction d’une nouvelle maison). Nous avons aussi découvert le pays Toraja avec des explications toujours très claires en anglais. Le plus difficile était de repartir. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous recommandons à 1000%. l’ambiance comme à la maison. le partage avec les propriétaires, leur disponibilité et les repas. les petits déjeuners sont incroyables, quant aux dîners ils sont copieux et excellents. Quel chef! bref le séjour ici est très très recommandé.

Super cozy atmosphere; Meyske, her mother and David were so lovely and welcoming. We had a one day tour with Meyske about the Toraja culture which was very recommendable! The dinner and breakfast were just amazing! It was perfect and we felt like home!

Booked two rooms for three nights. 30 minutes before we arrived i texted the owner, and she replied that she was away, that the rooms are not ready, that nobody there knows we are coming, and that she cannot contact people there, and suggested we go to a restaurant in town to wait. as we had a lot of luggage and we did not know the town or the restaurants, i told the owner that we would rather stay the first night in a hotel in town rather than sitting around waiting for who knows how long somewhere in a warung. She replied with an “ah ok”, and from that point on i did not receive any response from the owner anymore. I asked for a reduction of the cancellation fee, and got also no response. The full amount for two rooms for three nights was charged, and no response to my messages and requests.
