Meyske has a wonderful homestay and we immediately felt very comfortable and at home! It is very cozy & clean, has everything you need, very tasty food and simply a great atmosphere. Meyske is very helpful, attentive and cares about her guests. She is also a guide and shows the special culture of Toraja with passion and joy. The tours were great fun and Meyske went out of her way to show and explain everything to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for these wonderful days. We enjoyed every day! We felt very, very comfortable at Meyske and David's homestay! It's in a great location and furnished with lots of love and detail. We arrived and felt at home from the very first moment. And this feeling stayed with us for the next few days. Both of them are super attentive, kind and even catered for allergies and food intolerances. The food always varied and was simply delicious! We have rarely eaten so well! It's nice that we always ate together. This certainly contributes to the family atmosphere. The two-day tour with Meyske was also very nice and gave us a great introduction to the Toraja culture. We enjoyed every day and are glad to have spent our time here and done the tour with her. We had wonderful days and found it hard to leave the place again. Thank you so much for this wonderful time! We can warmly recommend it to everyone! Thank you

Authentiek guesthouse met een leuke sfeer. Basic maar je voelt je meteen thuis. Gezellig ingericht met een leuk balkon. Je verblijft in een tonkonan . Je wordt zeer gastvrij ontvangen en het ontbijt en diner is geweldig. Meyske regelt tours en transport top. Een prachtige ervaring en een goede indruk van sfeer cultuur in toraya. Ligt een half uur lopen van dorpje ketu kese. Een aanrader!!

I stayed for 4 nights at ne pakku homestay and it did not disappoint. The rooms are lovely and the beds are very comfy. Being surrounded / staying in torajan house and rice barns was a really lovely experience. I was lucky enough to attend a ceremony happening right outside of my room on one of the mornings of my stay which was very interesting to see. If you stay here make sure you try the supper - it was the best food I have eaten in sulawesi. The family are very welcoming and friendly and helpful with onward journeys or organizing trips and making you feel at home. There are also stalls/small shops nearby that sell snacks, chocolate and beer. I couldn't recommend this place more highly. 11/10 awesome place to stay in toraja.
