Aashray Homestay

I m french and i travel alone for the first time to Varanasi. I was very well received by Mr Kamal and Mrs Mangyur. The place is very calme and close from the Ghats. The Breakfast was nice around discussion and advises about the place to visit and the good tips, what are the good prices, what to take care of. I understood a lot about indian culture. They also helped me to find a train to gaya, from an other location because were full. Thank you And thank you to tell me on the Gange at 5h30 : i was the first at the ceremony and on the Gange.

I was not at ease with the city : very noisy , chaotic very crowded every where , it's is difficult for European, it was like on the Champ Elysee the Bastille day but every night. Visit of Sarnat was very peaceful.

Het oudere echtpaar is zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. De kamer was schoon, gezellig en had een goede airco. Een klein ijskastje was gevuld met allerlei drankjes die je tegen betaling kon nemen. Locatie is een rustige doodlopende straat, dus heel rustig.

I cannot thank the owners enough for everything they did for me when my first night I came down with bad food poisoning. The warmth and genuine care I received was more than I’d have ever expected. The room was just gorgeous, spacious and a lovely modern bathroom, and everything was spotless. The property is the perfect location, a little out of the madness but within easy reach of all the main sites. It’s a shame I wasn’t in good health as I’d have loved to spend some time with my wonderful hosts. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Aashray home stay was perfect. The hosts are warm and welcoming. I felt like part of the family by te time I left. The breakfast is fantastic. Great diversity and delicious. The room I had was light and airy and very large. The entire home is spotless.

Kamal and Manjou are lovely warm and kind hosts who will take care of all your needs.. Our room was clean and comfortable and we especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the world go by.

There was a lot of noise from the metal workshop next door, and also during our stay there were building works on the house the other side, which prevented us from enjoying the balcony in peace..

I reinforce all the good comments made: they are impeccable in terms of cleanliness, the breakfast is delicious, the rooms are organized and cleaned daily, and the kindness of Mr. Kamal, his wife and his employee is impressive. We can only thank them and recommend the space.

Mr and Mrs Kapur were so hospitable and treated us as special guests Their breakfast was superb and was different every day They were very helpful with information about the tourist attractions The room was comfortable with everything you could need Mr Kapur helped us get a tuktuk into the centre which was very kind
