Really secure with multiple locks and passcodes. The dimmable lightbulb makes up for the lack of natural light as this is below ground with only a tiny window. Private microwave/refrigerator are a huge plus. Nice TV. The hosts were very nice and discreet and were very helpful. Would definitely stay there again. For eating, China Doll and Dunkin Donuts are not far. A big Target is reachable by bus, and line 3 and line A/C within a 15 minute walk. Pretty long commute to Manhattan but if you're a tourist the aerial train view makes up for it.

The bath and toilet

The bath and toilet are good. Entering the room and for 3 days, I was haunted by a terrible smell in the room, the person who cleaned there, the smell was also with me after leaving, I’m not lying. This is a basement room in a garage, the window was half open, the first night it was cold, only on the second night I saw that the window was half open with holes, the place was suitable for me for the summer season, but not for winter, my roommate from France also complained about the cold at night

It's easy to access, and the owner is supportive when you need a hand. The bed is comfortable. It's located near Euclid Metro Station, and you can quickly go to Times Square. It's near the bus station, and you can easily reach JFK airport. You can find a grocery store within the 50 meters circle

Slippers could be more durable.
