La Dimora di Corte

Ein wirklich süßes Häuschen ausserhalb von Lucca. Sehr, sehr ruhig. Dennoch nah genug dran. Liebevoll eingerichtet. Sehr sauber. Sehr nette Besitzerin.

Bardzo dobry parking, spokojna okolica, przestronny pokòj. W obiekcie było bardzo czysto, a właściciele byli bardzo mili i pomocni. W pokoju był czajnik i wentylator. Mimo braku klimatyzacji temperatura była dość przyjemna. W oknach były zamontowane moskitiery.

Prywatna łazienka znajduje się poza pokojem. Obiekt położony jest dalej od centrum miasta niż w opisie (ok. 6 km) i bez samochodu trudno jest dojechać do centrum, szczególnie w weekendy.

Very clean, pleasant location, size of room, size of bathroom, use of outdoor kitchen.

Location of shower, which was over wooden shutters, shower curtain - would prefer shower screen. Bed was too hard.

Spacious, comfortable room in a quiet house in the Tuscan countryside. Perfect for a short stay whilst attending a wedding nearby.

La Dimora di Corte is the epitome of rural simplicity. deep in the country to the south of Lucca it does take some finding, so do your research before your arrival. There are neighbours coming and going but nothing to disturb a good night's sleep. A bedroom with a good sized double bed and a sole use bathroom immediately adjoiningm make for a comfortable stay. Patrizia is a charming and most welcoming host, rightly proud of her offering. I was there during the ferocious heat of the summer of 2025 so I was gratified to find effective mosquito nets on the windows as the surrounding terrain is definitely Mozzie country and I was able to have both windows open for a little draught!!

For its offering I thought it slightly expensive, otherwise it is fine.

Lovely Italian welcome :) The hosts don't speak English (but that is atually a positive as then it feels more real) and we only know a few basic words of Italian, but of course with Italian you speak with your hands anyway, lol. But the host was very good with Google tanslate so it was all good. We got a taxi to and from Lucca, there is a bus service, and it was on time, but we were waiting on the wrong side of the road LOL. The bathroom is not en-suite but it is next to the bedroom and for exclusive use. Everything was clean and tidy. Parking right outside the property.

Beautifully appointed and spacious rooms, very kind and helpful owners, use of small kitchen area in garden (fridge, sink, table - no formal cooking facility), a pleasant rural location that would be nice if you had a small car! There's a good bar just up the road (almost but not quite walking distance!) and you're only 10+ mins' drive from Lucca (6-7 mins' drive to nearest supermarket.)

Limited parking available so talk to them first if you have a big vehicle (eg a van, like us!) as it's not really suited to parking or manoeuvring such a vehicle, being a terraced property with neighbours either side and limited parking for each property. Be a lovely place to stay if you're just using a small/med hire car!! Be nice if breakfast was provided, (notwithstanding the good bar that is about a km (?) away..)
