The bed was good, the only positive in this upgraded hostel.

We booked this accommodation as it showed up in booking when we searched for private bathroom. When we found out the bathroom was shared and at the other side of the house we wanted to cancel the second night, but Anne wasn't considerate at all and didn't want to return the second night fee. The "deluxe" double room we had was so small our suitcases had to stay in the hallway adjacent to the shared living room. We had to walk through the shared living room and the shared kitchen to the laundry where our "bathroom" (a shower and a toilet) were. We had to brush our teeth in the sink of the laundry. I wanted to shave, but didn't have a mirror above the sink. And when I walked at half past nine in the evening to the "bathroom" Anne was still sitting in the living room, while she had told us she wasn't living in the house. Also she was walking outside of the house along the window of the toilet when I was standing in front of the toilet. To be honest, we never felt as uncomfortable as in this accommodation. The BNB idea is probably good for certain people, but for us it was just an upgraded hostel with a bedroom that was way too small, as we don't like to sit in the shared living room. Never again!

lots of character, Annie certainly has a knack for decoration clean and comfortable room beautiful garden and decking area to relax on.

Having upgraded from the originally booked caravan, we had a charming room, which we shared with an interesting teddy bear collection:) and adjacent bathroom. Ann was most welcoming, helpful and informative, free wi-fi, tea and coffee facilities were provided and Ann's garden, viewed from a pleasant verandah, is absolutely lovely.
