The house was lovely. Loved the water filter in the fridge. The washing machine/dryer downstairs was so handy. Loved having the balcony as well.

The room got very hot during the day and it was quite hard to cool down sometimes. Not sure if there's a duvet on the bed under the bottom sheet but there was lump down the middle of the bed, which wasn't very comfy.

While not on a busy road, there are nearby busy roads which can make for unwelcome noise

"Loved it"

It is a wonderful place to stay in Brisbane and get a local vibe by being in a private house. The host is an amazingly nice woman and the place is well-maintained. The bus connection to South Bank is easy. The 24-hr supermarket nearby is a great option.

Late on weekends buses can get rare. In morning traffic they can get a bit slow. It's not a big deal, but good to realize, because walking to downtown is not quite an option.
