Mu Homestay Tetebatu

Amazing stay with a local family in a beautifully designed homestay. The family atmosphere here is so special that you won’t want to leave. The staff are absolutely wonderful ,kind, helpful, and always ready to do anything to make you happy. One of the biggest highlights was being able to book local experiences directly at the homestay. I had my own guide and explored local villages, rice fields, and the monkey forest… it was the most incredible experience I’ve had in Lombok. Everything felt so authentic. People in Tetebatu are always smiling, full of joy, and so much fun to be around. In the evenings, there’s guitar playing and singing together, which makes it even more magical. 🥰 And I can’t forget the food… wow, so delicious 🫶🏼 absolutely the best! 🙏 Honestly, I don’t want to leave this place at all.

Das Zimmer war wunderschön! Modern eingerichtet mit allem, was man sich wünscht (Schreibtisch, Stuhl, Kleiderschrank etc.). Das Bad ist wunderschön und die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf Mount Rinjini war einfach nur traumhaft. Die Hosts waren super freundlich und haben sogar das Frühstück auf die Terrasse gebracht. Das Wohlfühlen und Entspannen wird hier sehr einfach gemacht.

Mr. Mu and his wonderful team at Mu Homestay do such a great job at making us feel comfortable and welcome. Our walking tour of the rice fields and exploring the local surroundings on the first day of our stay was excellent with the lovely Andika 🙏 Our room was so peaceful and we slept so well in the very comfortable bed 👌 We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there and everytime it was so delicious and prepared so beautifully. Myself and my husband could not recommend Mu Homestay more! A truely wonderful and unforgettable stay, and we look forward to making a return some day 🙏❤️

We had a really wonderful stay at MU Homestay. You immediately feel at home here. The location is absolutely stunning! We had a view of Mount Rinjani, and right next to our room there was a rice field where locals were working — such a special experience. The room was spacious and exactly as shown in the photos. Breakfast was included (which we didn’t realize at first), and it was really great! We also had lunch and dinner there, and the food was delicious. We did the tour to the famous waterfalls as well as the Tetebatu tour where you visit rice fields, waterfalls, and more. Our guide, Rio, truly made both experiences unforgettable. All in all, we are extremely satisfied. If we ever come back, we will definitely stay here again. Mr. Mu was very helpful with everything. A solid 10/10 😊

There is a mosque nearby where the call to prayer can be heard very early through loudspeakers. However, this is common throughout the area and is something the homestay has no control over.

Super vriendelijke familie, mooie plek, veel groen en natuur. Uitstekende hospitality en lekker eten.

Eenvoud qua onderkomen is prima, iets meer aandacht voor onderhoud (deur sluitingen, los zittende kranen, spiegel ook op ooghoogte voor langere mensen).

J'ai adoré mon séjours chez mu Homestay ! Personnelle super accueillant, les chambres sont très propre et très confortable, triste de ne pas avoir pu rester plus longtemps ! je recommande merci beaucoup :)

Thanks Mu and everyone for this lovely experience. The view from the King Delux room was amazing. everything was perfect.

A mosquito net would be nice for those who don't like the electronic oil diffusers.

Als er een homestay bestaat die het woord heeft uitgevonden is het Mu homestay. Zulke lieve mensen die alles voor je doen voor een fantastische ervaring in misschien wel de mooiste regio van Lombok

La habitacion era amplia, estaba impecable y muy limpia ademas decorada con muchísimo gusto. Pero lo mejor sin duda fue la amabilidad de Mu y de todas las personas que trabajan con el. Hicimos un tour por los arrozales con Andy 2 que nos encantó, nos explico todo el proceso del cultivo del arroz y pudimos ver todos los pasos. Además también pasamos por el Monkey forest y una cascada. Recomendamos hacer el tour con el, es el mejor! También comimos y cenamos en el homestay, la comida está muy muy buena y se nota que lo hacen todo con mucho cariño. Recomiendo alojarse aquí mucho.
