The moment you enter the homestay, you'll notice many usual things used as decoratives and none of the things are wasted. Thus, it was a lovely place to stay. Their sophisticated behaviour will make you feel like a family. 1. Behaviour of everybody in the homestay. They make you comfortable and mean while also providing you personal space. 2. Very Hygienic. 3. Decorative items used. 4. Good View with attached balcony. 5. Highly peaceful and very less crowded location. 6. Healthy and yet very taste food. 7. They'll also help you in hiring Cabs to almost anyplace you want to go. 8. They help you in making your itenary better. 9. The place in a homestay to have food is beautiful. They have an internal dining room and also the external. 10. Inbuilt library where you can find information about kalimpong, kanchenjunga and many more places which will help you make your itenary better. If you are tired of the journey, fed up from the city lifestyle, prefer a less crowded place and want to have a good quality time with peace then this is the right place.

The compound is a little cramped and has a slope, but that's fine as it is a hilly location. Not a big disadvantage.

First and foremost - the hosts and their hospitality. The property was clean, comfortable and cozy. The food was excellent and they made us feel like their family. Overall - an excellent stay.

We'd would recommend better direction guidance be given to first time visitors like us by property owner (via messaging or call). Google maps worked by as you near the property and enter the by-lanes....the location service of G-map can't pin point it. Hence - guidance on landmarks (like SIB office, Chandralok etc.), upfront would have been helpful.

The entire family was exceptionally friendly and made us feel as if we are part of the family. Bonus was having Arunoday sweet little baby boy who made our stay more memorable with his cute smile and play all the time.

The stay was just amazing, great hospitality shown by the family, it completely felt like home to us. The homestay was just apt with delicious food, perfectly maintained, well decorated with all kinds of plants.

Nice family, very welcoming. The homestay is in a quiet place. Mr Gurung took us for a sightseeing of the city. The view was breathtaking.

Excellent hosts, warm and cordial. Every morning we were served excellent breakfast. Whenever we asked for lunch or dinner they served us sumptuous meal. The double deluxe room is amazing. We spent a lot of time in the balcony, which has an amazing seating facilities. The room was quite big and it is very well lit. The wifi connectivity is stable and quite decent. You'll get around 30-40 Mbps speed. The location of their house is roughly 2-3 km from the Kalimpong town and hence is ideal for a quite vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but the town is also easily accessible from the house by either walk or by shared taxi. Overall this is one of the most pleasant and memorable stay for us. Thank you Gurung family for your lovely hospitality. We hope to visit you again in the near future.

Location was very good. Food served was excellent cooked with all organic ingredients. The balcony surrounded by trees was a great place to unwind and watch birds and squirrels. The hosts were very friendly and attended to our smallest needs. Overall, an amazing place to stay.
