Phi Hung's Unique Homestay

I had a lovely stay at this homestay. I arrived really early and the owner had just woken up, bless her. She let me leave my bags and suggested things I could do whilst I wait for check-in. She even offered me a room that was already ready if I wanted to check-in earlier so I could freshen up. The room itself was very clean and spacious. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean too. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the lake and lots of restaurant and cafes. The owner is super lovely and kind. I booked my bus to my next stop through her and she even rode me on her tiny scooter with all my bags to the bus station and waited with me until my bus arrived. She also suggested a lot of activities for the area. You can book tours with her. Unfortunately I had already done a tour of the area prior to my stay so I didn't do any of it but she has a lot of tours/activities on offer. She has biked and scooters for rent too for exploring.

They were doing renovations of the ground floor during my stay so it was quite loud from 7am. I didn't mind so much as I wake up early anyway. But it meant there wasn't really anywhere to chill at the homestay. I had breakfast included in my booking too but I didn't get any for the duration of my stay. It's more my fault really as I didn't ask and maybe the owner forgot or something but she didn't offer it either.

The woman was really kind, help with everything. Google translate worked well. She served pancakes for breakfast with fresh fruit.

It is currently a huge renovation on the property, so everything was covered in dust (for ages!!!) Our room should have had a huge deep cleaning, which unfortunately never happened before we arrived!! The fridge was disgusting and mouldy, smelled awful. The bed side table was so dirty, I didn’t want to touch it. The bathroom was the same… hair everywhere and shampoo bottles were left behind from previous travellers. The room was extremely cold, AC was not functional for heating. We asked for an extra blanket, I suggest to have a heater in the room.. The breakfast was okay, we got fresh fruits with a pancake, but not enough.

Propriétaire adorable, s’est dépêché de préparer notre chambre car nous sommes arrivés en avance (7h30 du matin), elle prepare un très bon petit déjeuner, endroit propre

Il y avait des travaux donc dès 6h30, des bruits de perceuse. Également il y a un sent-bon dans la chambre qui est extrêmement fort et donne mal à la tête.

לצערינו המקום בשיפוצים אז יש המון רעש בבוקר ובמהלך היום

A dona do estabelecimento é super gentil, ficamos só um dia e pagamos pela lavanderia e no outro dia já estava tudo seco é muito cheiroso🥰 Além do lugar ser bem localizado no final nós deu um abraço de despedida!! Uma queria

Hôte attentionnée avec un super petit dej, très bien placé.

La localisation a proximité de de l embarcadère des bateaux , la situation en retrait de la rue principale , la gentillesse des propriétaires , la location de moto à 100.00 Vnd la journée avec porte téléphone sur le compteur, le bon petit déjeuner (banana pancake avec chocolat et fruits et café), un plan photocopié pour les sites à voir aux alentours , le calme le soir , la très grande propreté. La gentillesse de la propriétaire qui m a accompagné jusqu au point de ramassage de la Limousine U elle m avait réservé pour Hanoi ( et un dernier selfie avec un grand sourire)

Travaux d extension de l établissement en cours ( nouvelles chambres) qui génèrent du bruit et de la poussière la journée ( aucun bruit la nuit ), mais ce désagrément n est que temporaire
