A property of very high standards which we really enjoyed staying at for our 2 night visit.

Probably one the best places we have stayed. The host was just lovely, treated us like friends from the moment we arrived. The room was amazing, immaculate, with views to die for. Perfect little added touches. Will 100% return to this gem of a place.

It's taken me a little while to write this review because I wasn't sure that I wanted to share the Gamelin with anyone else but that wouldn't be fair to the wonderful hosts Mayuri and John. They have truly thought of everything and created accommodation that feels both luxurious and very comfortable and cosy. The location is perfect, just a five minute walk into town, and the views from both rooms are breathtaking. It's a gem of a find, so if you're travelling to Llangollen, don't hesitate, book it before someone else does, you won't be disappointed.

Nothing that we didn't like but I would mention that although it's a short walk to town, it's uphill on the way back, so it might be a little challenging for someone who struggles to walk far. Having said that, we're all in our mid 60s to early 70s, fit and able, and had no problems.
